The grain runs in long dark bands around the curve, which is most of the reason to own it.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eCondition is excellent for a piece that has been in service for sixty years: one very slight white mark on the right side, nothing on the rim, and the surface has the soft sheen teak gets from hands rather than polish. The serving spoon that originally came with these is not here.
