Where We Buy
These are the people we buy from and the people we hire, starting with the ones in Cincinnati. Most of what Collected North sells will come home from Denmark, and the dealers there get added to this page after the October trip, once we have bought from them as Collected North rather than as two people with a suitcase. Until then the list is short, and every name on it has taken our money.
Tasty Bird Vintage
Tasty Bird is an 8,000 square foot vintage market at 2533 Gilbert Avenue in Walnut Hills, thirty-odd dealers under one roof, run by Jason and Leah Brown, with a lower level (the Underwing) that opened later and added more booths. The first thirteen pieces Collected North ever bought came from here on September 6, 2026, as a test run for everything that happens after a purchase: receipt to QuickBooks, SKU, Shopify draft, photograph, price. That the test lot could be Royal Copenhagen, Stelton, Dansk, Kosta Boda, Sowe Konst and Marimekko from a mall in Walnut Hills says something about Cincinnati and something about the booths here. Go for the Scandinavian smalls.
Flamingo Haven Antique Mall
Flamingo Haven is a 15,000 square foot antique mall at 4530 West Mitchell Avenue, sixty-odd vendor spaces under one roof, open seven days a week and there since 2016. The mix leans mid-century modern and industrial, with jewelry, clothing and records filling the gaps, which makes it a different kind of hunt from a shop where one person chose everything on the shelves: you are reading sixty eyes instead of one. Anne made our first buy here on September 12, 2026, a turned teak nut bowl by Sowe Konst that came out of booth 73 for $48, on an afternoon that started as a look around and did not stay one. Go on a weekday if you want room to move.
Hart & Cru
Hart & Cru is a bottle shop and tasting room at 1206 Broadway Street, in Pendleton on the east edge of Over-the-Rhine, run by Kevin Hart, with a monthly club, Sunday classes and a series of chef dinners. They poured the wine at our launch party on August 8: 27 bottles, 30 stems, and printed pairing cards produced from our brand pack, which made a wine shop our print vendor for a night. If you are buying wine for a table set with Danish ceramics, this is where we would send you.
The Rhined
The Rhined is a cut-to-order cheese shop at 1737 Elm Street, across from Findlay Market, which Stephanie Webster opened in 2017 after making cheese at home. There are two Certified Cheese Professionals behind the counter now, a wine selection, monthly clubs, classes, and a catering side that built the board for fifty at our launch party (the brüléed cheese was a late addition after we saw it on their Instagram and could not leave it alone). The market scenes in our photography were shot across the street.
